It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our fearless leader and one of our beloved owners, Elizabeth Campbell.

Elizabeth was more than an owner — she was the very heart and soul of our business. Her vision, courage, and unwavering dedication shaped not only our company, but each of us personally. She led with grace and determination, balancing strength with compassion, and she never lost sight of what mattered most: people.

Elizabeth was the co-founder of McCaskill & Company alongside her husband, Bill Campbell. She was enjoying her typical morning walk in a safe residential neighborhood when she was accidentally hit from behind by a vehicle. The suddenness of this loss is immeasurable, and our hearts are broken beyond words.

To Elizabeth, this was never just a jewelry store. It was a place where milestones were celebrated, love stories began, and relationships were nurtured for generations. She believed deeply in excellence, integrity, and in creating an experience that made every client feel valued and cared for. Every achievement we’ve reached and every goal we’ve accomplished carries her influence and her belief in us.

She built more than a business — she built a family. Our team was her pride and joy, and she poured into each of us with encouragement, trust, and high standards that pushed us to be better every day. Her passion for this industry and for our community was unmatched, and her presence filled every room with warmth, clarity, and purpose.

As a dear friend so beautifully shared, “Elizabeth was one of the brightest, wisest, kindest, most wonderful people I have ever known. She exuded joy and strength. She was a steel magnolia with a massive heart. She was an amazing businesswoman who led McCaskill & Company to become one of the finest family-owned jewelers in America. The loss of her vibrant smile, talent, and leadership is incalculable. Our industry has lost one of its true stars.”

She was our matriarch, our mentor, our example. To her family, she was Mom. To all of us, she was our guiding light.

As we navigate this heartbreaking time, we are committed to honoring Elizabeth’s legacy. We will continue the work she loved so deeply and uphold the values she instilled: integrity, excellence, service, and heart.

We ask for your prayers, patience, and kindness as we grieve this tremendous loss. Thank you for being part of the community she cherished so dearly. Her light, leadership, and love will continue to guide us forward — today and always.

Elizabeth — Mom — you will forever be our North Star.
