We just returned from an exciting trip to Las Vegas and a whirlwind of jewelry shows. Las Vegas has become the Mecca for jewelry shows with three major shows coinciding in June. Most of our designers participate in Couture, the most exclusive collection of the world’s leading jewelry designers and timepiece brands showcased in the Wynn hotel. Additional shows include Luxury and JCK with well over 1000 exhibitors. With such a diversity of collections, we are able to hand select and exciting selection for our Destin clientele.
Trends – Cocktail rings are one of the leading categories for fall featuring large semiprecious gemstones in a variety of metals. Sentimental, inspirational and spiritual motifs continue popularity. In response to this trend, we will be adding the collection from Heather Moore that features charms about our lives – what is special in your life that you want to acknowledge and celebrate. Long necklaces for layering were very popular as well. Color was everywhere, with fashion trends focusing in the purple, plum and mauve hues.
