A self-described intellectual eccentric, Alex Sepkus is intricately involved in each phase of his designs execution. With demands so strict that the craftsman himself, along with his workforce, require the use of microscopes to inspect their highly evolved goldsmith and design practices. Alex Sepkus works around the clock, devoted to his precisely created yet playfully displayed fine jewelry. The final creation results in a perfect juxtaposition of exquisite creation and timeless creativity.
These unique designs, seen below, are an example of the mastery in design present in the work of Alex Sepkus. As a craftsman, he portrays through his work several priorities, where beauty, insight and passion can be seen woven between the carefully married gold and precious gemstones. His driving force in life has evolved, and now exists in the work of his hands. Sepkus completed his graduate degree in industrial design from the Lithuanian Academy of Art, where he studied interiors, etching, glass making sculpture and graphics.
Alex has always maintained a strong understanding and respect for precision and balance. He has developed a great passion for the many intricacies within his craft, creating a world which can be truly appreciated from under a microscope. Today, Alex Sepkus employs 17 craftsman, each working side by side with him to execute the challenging hand finishing which has made his jewels so very distince. Each craftsmen's bench has a microscope mounted to swing in and out in order to insure the fineness and delicacy required of each piece.
