David-Kirk

McCaskill & Company would like to welcome David Kirk, who has recently joined our team as sales manager.
“We are glad to welcome an industry veteran like David to our team,” said Bill Campbell, owner of McCaskill & Company. “His experience and knowledge in fine jewelry will be a great asset to our company.”
Kirk earned his certificate in diamonds and diamond grading from the Gemology Institute of America and completed the Jeweler’s Alliance certified manager’s course. Additionally, he has taken many valuable courses within the jewelry industry including Harry Friedman’s sales training, TAG Heuer’s Bronze training, and a retail selling skills program.
Before taking this position at McCaskill & Company, Kirk had established himself as a valuable employee with a lengthy professional history at Carlyle & Co. Jewelers, which suffered greatly from the national economic crisis and ultimately was forced to close its doors. Kirk began his foray into the jewelry industry in 1989 as assistant manager at Carlyle & Co.’s Panama City location. His display of leadership in that position led to a promotion as manager for the company’s Jacksonville store. Due to his exemplary skill and enthusiasm, Kirk was asked to take on the challenge of a Tallahassee-based store in need of organization. Again, his charisma and good management led to a positive working environment and increased business. One success led to another and Kirk was asked to take the helm at the Carlyle & Co. location in Destin, Florida, where Kirk was employed immediately prior to joining McCaskill & Company.
“I am honored to be joining such a well-established company as McCaskill,” said Kirk. “They are known for luxury, class, and sophistication on every level, and I feel privileged to be a part of this team.”
