Pantone has come out with the perfect color for 2017, Greenery, which signified beginnings. So this color will help remind us everyday to have a fresh start, which is especially a good remind for the New Year.

This yellow-green hue also brings about the concept of environment. Laurie Pressman, the Pantone Color Institute's vice preside told FORBES, "There is a growing desire to reconnect with Nature and what is real, and find ways to disconnect from technology. We need a break. We need to stop and breathe. Greenery is about unity and community-connecting to oneself and others and a higher purpose, Nature."
Also this color reflects the divided social and political landscape. "Nature is free, and the color isn't meant to be partisan," Pressman said.
"We know what kind of world we are living in: one that is very stressful and very tense," said Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. "This is the color of hopefulness, and of our connection to nature. It speaks to what we can the 're' words: regenerate, refresh, revitalize, renew. Every spring we enter a new cycle and new shoots come from the ground. It is something life affirming to look forward to."
We love that this color is a reminder that we can all start fresh, with a healthier attitude about life and take the time to enjoy the beauty of Nature.
