Event Description: Sounds of the Season Concert Friday, December 6 - 7:00 PM presented by Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Calling all singing voices for Community Christmas Chorus Rehearsal date is Saturday, November 16 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Village Baptist Church in the music suite. A final rehearsal will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 PM. This holiday spectacular Christmas concert features sacred and Christmas classics from Destin United Methodist, Destin Assembly of God, First Baptist of Destin, Grace Lutheran, Shoreline and Village Baptist churches. Admission to the concert is a donation of an unwrapped child's toy to be distributed among the participating church's outreach ministries to provide a brighter Christmas for families in need during the holidays. A love offering at intermission will benefit the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's "All Kinds of Art" children's educational outreach programs inspiring students and special needs children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. 27th Annual Holiday on the Harbor Destin Lighted Boat Parade

Event Description: The Destin History & Fishing Museum will host the 27th Annual Holiday on the Harbor Destin Boat Parade. Judging will take place upstairs at Harry T's Restaurant. Boats will begin lining up in the harbor between 5 and 5:30 p.m. The parade may be viewed from the docks and restaurants west of Grand Harbor Condominiums. Fireworks will light up the sky after the parade. You may pick up an entry form in person at the Museum, Destin Community Center, City Hall, Destin Area Chamber of Commerce, or other harbor businesses. You may also email kathydestinhistory@gmail.com or call (850) 837-6611 to have an application sent to you.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22.
