It has been an unusually cold/rainy/snowy winter, so it is an even more welcome to spring this year. Destin and the surrounding area has understandably become a mecca for visitors from throughout the Southeastern U.S. to enjoy our paradise. Our beaches are some of the most amazing in the world. Add fishing, golf and a host of other recreational activities – it doesn’t get in better than that! We thought that you would enjoy some of our upcoming events for the month of March – if you are a local or one of our visiting guest.

March 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29thSpring Break 2014 Concert Series - All guests and locals are invited to HarborWalk Village to enjoy a free Spring Break concert these Saturday nights on the Destin Harbor. Concerts are free and open to the public.

March 15 – 9th Annual Art in the Park at WaterColor from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. Artists display their works throughout one of South Walton's most beautiful landscapes filled with butterfly gardens, trees, walking paths and fountains. In addition this year's art festival will feature live music throughout the day with performances by Dannica Lowery, Kyle LaMonica, and Boukou Groove.WaterColor Art in the Park

March 15 7th Annual 30A St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival. The parade is the largest celebration in Northwest Florida of Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day. You can expect over 50 floats and parade entries, in all shapes and sizes. The parade commences on Scenic 30a in NW Florida March 15th at 3.30 p.m. and ends at Gulf Place, where premier Irish Dancers and Celtic Bands perform through the evening.

March 16thARTwalk on the Harbor - Art event along the Destin Boardwalk from HarborWalk Village to AJ's featuring local and regional artists and vendors. This event is free to the public and will take place on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 11am to 4pm.ARTwalk

March 14 – 16Emerald Coast Boat Show at the Emerald Coast Convention Center -- Over 35 vendor booths ranging from brokers and electronics to tower builders and accessories. Over 50 boats on display in the climate controlled exhibit hall with over 150 more outside. This show has grown dramatically since its resurrection in 2013. Now with over 40 boat brokers, dealers, and vendors, this is one of the best and the only boat show on the Florida Panhandle. The show will have hundreds of center consoles, cruisers, runabouts, pontoons, deck boats and skiffs, all represented by the coast's top dealers.
