In selecting designers for our gallery, we take special care to bring you unique, handcrafted and 
distinctive collections. This is certainly the case with one of our very favorite designers, Pamela Froman, who also features many one-of-a-kind pieces. We were initially drawn to her design because of the mixture of yellow, pink, white, green, chocolate and black gold seamlessly combined with a crushing technique. Originality and meticulous attention to every detail are hallmarks to Pamelas signature look. With price points hovering around $3000 to $4000 she has a very broad appeal to all ages groups.
Pamela was motivated to pursue jewelry design after realizing that the fashion design industry, for which she majored, was not right for her. I tried a few other courses: illustration, package design, interior design, window display and jewelry design. I was already making some jewelry for friends and selling the pieces at market around NY, so it seemed like a natural transition to change my major to jewelry design. When I graduated, I moved to Paris and designed jewelry for couturier companies there for three years; it was such a great experience!
Finding inspiration from Everywhere, in architecture, textiles, nature, in my dreams, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and Ive dreamt of an idea. I sketch and sketch for hours and sometimes, just staring at my own jewelry gives me for ideas. Her love for her work is evident in each individual piece as she relates I love creating something that has come from inside of me and seeing the end result, like when I see a collector get such joy from owning a piece that came from my heart, it is the most wonderful feeling.
This past year Pamela launched her One-of-a-Kind Wedding Ring Collection for women and men made of 18K and 22K gold and platinum with diamonds and colored gemstones. With wedding bands starting around $1000 and engagement ring mountings starting at $1200, her distinctive designs are a perfect fit for our Bridal Design Gallery.
